| | 'Twas The Day After ChristmasDecember 30, 2009 - Miranda StokesI was pretty upset for a few days after a frustrating Article Comments(6)LunarStarStorytellerJan-14-10 1:15 AM Beautiful poem!! But seriously. Why do people continue to shop at such a place if it is such a hassle. I hate that store. Which is why I do not shop there for anything. I can understand saving a dollar and the convenience of everything under one roof but understand this: If you continue to shop there after such experiences, then they will not improve anything. Why should they? You were upset, but you keep coming back. So in their eyes, all is forgiven. :) WVWagonJan-06-10 9:16 PM Maybe I'm speaking outta turn, GETOVER, but I kinda think that Hill is talking about the "_allyWorld" policies as a whole...not particularly what the employees do. I realize ya'll have to make a living, but it is sad that the company keeps the checkouts understaffed, the shelves understocked, and the customer and employees undervalued. I happen to shop at a couple of different store locations. New Martinsville is by far the highest priced and has the least availability of products...in other words...it just plain *****! getoverJan-06-10 2:53 PM I belive that you all need to work just one day of retail and then you would have respect for us workers. Hillbillyboots YES you are right we want to spend time with our familys also..the hours was extended for you people who think you have no other life than to be in Walmart on holidays..Get a life and enjoy your familys(if you have one). Remember us workers are just doing a job to suport our family..so why not Thank a worker next time you see them instead of raising Holy*****with them..and for the announcements if that was not done there would still be people in there at midnight wanting to just walk around..so next year why dont you try going in the afternoon or better yet try staying home with your family..suggestion to you do your shopping earlier next year also.. hillybillybootsJan-05-10 1:11 AM i could go on all day about the local super center.the most frustrating thing is when there are very very long lines ,two or three registers open and about 5 or 6 employees just standing around example christmas eve a rather rude lady kept reminding us that the store was closing promptly at 8 pm,yes i understand walmart employes want to spend time with their family like the rest of us but she started announcing at 630pm and preceded to do so every 5 minutes util 730 at which time demanded that all purchases needed to be taken to the registers ,where there were a ton of long lines not very many registers open and a bunch of employees doing nothing..super center gotta love it moodusDec-31-09 7:21 AM Gee, and i wonder what store that would be? We all know, being in this area, EXACTLY what store that is...What you could have added was some line about how "as we all go shopping for something to wear, but always and as usual, the shelves are always kept bare"... I enjoyed your story... Post a Comment | |
